I am a label-avoidant person. I live in Melbourne, Australia, which is the best city in the world. I'm interested in things, but never to the exclusion of all other things, and I think using nouns to describe people is simplistic and kind of creepy. Meeting new and interesting people always makes me happy (and most people are more interesting than they realise), which is a veiled invitation to go ahead and introduce yourself.

This is a blog about whatever I feel compelled to write about for public consumption, including but not limited to music, photography, and the aforementioned "things". I am currently focusing on writing more regularly as well as doing other things that are good for me.

I can be found doing things online in various places:

Last.fm: where the shape of my auditory obsessions is made quite plain;

Delicious: where, magpie-like, I collect things that catch my eye;

Tumblr: once the poor cousin of my Delicious account, now a collection of things that inspire me mashed together with recollections of my dreams;

Twitter: where I blurt whatever the heck I feel like at the time;

Flickr: where I upload photos; and

Livejournal: a mostly-inactive journal that I use for reading my friends page and the occasional broadcast.

Also, this blog is hosted by Siteground. I've found them easy to use and never had any issues - if you are looking for a cheap webhost, you could do worse. And if you sign up after clicking my link to go there, I think my hosting becomes cheaper, too.
